UPMC Presbyterian Dental Center is a dental clinic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 3459 Fifth Ave 202 South, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, which places it among the local businesses of Pittsburgh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 8:30 amβ4 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Pittsburgh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I love them! Everyone is nice, it's no frills, just show up on time, make sure you have all the documentation you need, and you receive great care. Montefiore has their own parking garage and it's easy to find and that was very important for me. The girls up front are nice and the hygienists, assistants, and dentists are so nice. Thank you guys!! Shayen T.

I started visiting this place earlier this year and always had a great experience every time I visited. Lisa is my dental hygienist. She did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and is a very nice and warm person. Dr. Sabatelle performed an excellent job on my implant crown. Also, more recently, my bridge fell out after just a year and a half from my previous dentist. Dr. Sabatelle fixed the cause of the problem and made me a new bridge that fits perfectly. I canβt thank him enough for the work he did for my teeth and I am highly satisfied. He is truly a one of kind, outstanding dentist who is very kind, honest, professional, and knowledgeable in his field. He has really made a positive impact on me and my teeth!

DO NOT MAKE APPT! BEWARE! This was the worst experience ever! I had to wait a month to be seen and my appt was for yesterday at 12:45. It is very difficult to locate and took over 20 mins to find once in the hospital. To make it worse they were impossible to reach by phone for help with directions. It's like an endless maze. But after the 1 hr ride there, dealing with terrible parking garages with construction, getting lost I made it there at 12:46. Miraculously. ONE MINUTE LATE! ONE! The woman at the desk proceeds to tell me that I should have come 15 mins earlier to do a bunch of paperwork but I was never told to come extra early. I pleaded with her to please help me get seen and she refused! I suffered with a swollen abscess for a mth waiting for the appt, took off work, made the hr drive, dealt with the parking and navigating my way to be there on time and being told I had to reschedule because I was literally ONE MINUTE LATE was like a punch in the face. I will never reschedule with them and i will never ever refer anyone to them. If the dentist is as good as the woman at the front desk then maybe this was a blessing in disguise. π€

I'm not really sure why this place has so many negative reviews. I've never had issues getting a call back and scheduling appointments. I just had my second appointment there today and got my next appointment scheduled for next month (and they had other times available that day). I hadn't been to the dentist in 6 years when I started going here. I was both nervous and embarrassed about how bad I thought my teeth might be. Lisa, my dental hygienist, was fantastic. She's super friendly and made me feel comfortable and more confident that I could get my teeth back in ideal condition (without doing a crazy amount of dental work). Dr. Sabatelle is also highly recommended. He surgically removed a really bad broken tooth. While I can't say that it was a enjoyable experience, he and his assistant made me feel comfortable the whole time and I didn't feel any pain throughout the procedure. I will definitely keep coming back and would certainly recommend this dental office to friends and family.

Extremely rude. Continually badgered me for showing up for my appointment on time. I'm not kidding, they refused to clean my teeth because I didn't get there 10 minutes early. I explained to them that i was on foot, in heavy snow, and apologized. I also explained that i was moving and really needed this done now. They did the x-rays and acted like they were doing me a service for that. I have never been so appalled by how a dental office treats their patients. Just don't go here.
